We went to This is the Place State Park on Saturday- I haven't been for at LEAST 10 years (except if you count the Easter Egg hunt back in April, and seriously, we were there for like 45 minutes, and nothing was open- technically- I don't count that) Anyway, Joe's parents came with us and it was a lot of fun for Parker to have them there- typically when he sees them there are the other grandkids around and Parker is not the loudest so he kinda just does his own thing. Anyway, he got to ride the train twice, the little train once, ride a pony, pet goats and play in the little kids village with a whole bunch of little playhouses (I think that was probably one of his most favorite places). Plus there was a lot of walking and he did REALLY good, he walked most of the way himself and we were there for probably about 4-5 hours. He did get some ice cream and fries with ketchup (the boy LOVES ketchup- he will eat it with a spoon- gross...) Here are some pictures from the day.
