Well, a WHILE ago (holy cow! I has been almost a year and a half?!?!?) we painted the kids bathroom and got the granite for the new counter, but are just NOW getting around to completing the bathroom. We have gotten the granite cut and polished, we have the new sink and faucet and now I am painting the cabinets. We are also going to put up wainscoting around it too- the painting, that is all up to me... darn... Anyway. Here is the before ~
And the next step so far-
The cabinet is not a white white- it is white variation, and I will be using a brown glaze overtop- same with the wainscoting. So, I guess it will be a whiteish/ yellow bathroom. The blue countertop- um, ya, so not staying. I have hated that ever since we got it (still not sure why I picked it...) The counter top will be this

Pardon the dust on it, we gave it to the guys who were cutting the granite for reference, it has like the really cool waterfall water stream. Anyway, it is quite a project, and I will especially be glad when it is done :)
