Little Bunny

We went up to This is the Place Park for an Easter Egg hunt that they had going on- Once I get the pictures from Joe's phone, I will post them, but Parker got his face painted as a bunny and it was SOOO cute, and I didn't realize how much he liked it until I cleaned it off just before bed and he was very upset. He kept pointing to his cheek and saying "brown, brown bunny" (whiskers...and they were black- but that is beside the point) in fact, his last words before going to sleep were in reference to his brown whiskers.

He was trying to show me the tootsie roll he was eating, he thought trying to show his food was HILarious...

I was checking my email and such and he came up and sat behind me on the chair, started patting my back and then suddenly it was quiet- I turned around and he had fallen asleep-

Of some of the hundreds (yes, I said hundreds) of pictures I took from our vacation in Moab this last week.

These pictures were taken last week after it snowed. Last year Parker HATED the snow and everything about it. This year- LOVED it, it was all I could do to get him to come inside~ (That being said, he is still shy with the camera -even for me- and was too busy to pose)

The boy was quite into clearing the snow from off his toys, he kept saying "wipe snow off" 

In fact he was SO into it that right after this picture, he fell over the side and we got this

But it was ok, I mean there was like 8 inches of snow, and the toy is like 2 1/2 feet tall- 

See! He is back to wiping off the snow again.

See? Still shy- then I put the camera away and he is a total goof ball... go figure!

4 Years Ago

March 4th 2006- My grandpa passed away, I had known him for 22 years and I wasn't ready for him to go.  I know that it was for the best for him, the cancer had made him tired and sick. Even as sick as he was, as Joe and I visited him in the hospital a few days before he passed, he asked me "Is that guy still hanging around?" He always had a sense of humor. He had songs that he would sing to me and I would get all embarrassed when he would sing them, but secretly I loved it, they were my songs. I still miss him, I still get sad, and I will always love him and I know that he is happy and he is with grandma and everything is ok.

So as I was looking through the pictures on my sisters FB account of our Warm River trip, I found a couple of cute pictures that I didn't see before.

This is a perfect picture to show how much Parker loved the water and how he preferred to be on the river. Unmoving, not wet, warm and with daddy. 

Holy Goodness! Look at that curly hair! And ignore the bug bites, the mosquitoes were brutal... Yes people- his hair really does get that curly. Anyway, I just have the sweetest, goofiest, most wonderful little boy and a fantastic, wonderful husband!

Photo Shoot?

So, on Monday Parker and I went over to my friend Kristine's house for lunch and a play date. She has an adorable little baby girl who is 6 months and I haven't seen her for about 6 months so it was so fun to get together. While we were there, Kristine who is a budding photographer took some shots of Parker who was acting very camera shy, so we got a lot of backside and side shots, but still a cutie!

Thanks Kris! Maybe he will cooperate better next time :)
