WaRm RiVeR

We went to Warm River for our family reunion and had a good time, would have been better had Joely been feeling better and we didn't have to live out of a tent... We are not tent people we have decided, it does not work for us, and especially not when you have a 7 month old that does not feel well... She is doing much better now, but it was rough at night (and cold) But Parker braved the Warm River (Although he said that they named it wrong, it is not Warm River, but Cold River :)

Warm River

We had a lot of fun at Warm River this year- what a difference a year makes! Last year, Parker was fine as long as he was not touching the water, and he certainly did not want to float down the river. This year, he loved floating down the river! My mom hurt her knee (and so did my cousin- knee surgery on BOTH knees) and so to help they would put their chairs in the river and just sit there- so Parker would sit on laps in the water, and they even tied my brother's dog's leash to a tube and Parker loved to sit in that and we would let him float a little bit, than pull him back up, and then let him float off again, I think he could have done that all day long.
