Too bad it won't be outside on Halloween! We got the pumpkin a few weeks before Halloween and carved it at a party our friends were having. Joe carved the pumpkin freehand (Isn't he great!?) We figured it would still be ok for Halloween when much to my surprise 3 days after carving it- it was growing this icky stringy white mold inside. I tried to get rid of it, but a week after getting the pumpkin it was in the garbage- the mold was starting to grow out of the carvings and the face was starting to get really soft- DISGUSTING!! So, we just have some cute little uncarved pumpkins to put out.
