Ok, Ok, this is a little late, but better late than never : ) Anyway, here are some pictures from Parker's birthday. He was so funny! He woke up around 7:00 on Saturday and his party was supposed to start at 2:00, well at about 1:00, he was cranky, and he hadn't taken a nap, so I asked Joe if he would help him sleep while I finished getting ready for the party, so they went into our bedroom and Parker fell asleep. Joe is really good at getting Parker to sleep. Anyway everyone started arriving, and Parker was still sleeping, so we delayed the party for about 30 minutes while he kept on sleeping. We ended up getting him up and he was so funny. We gave him his presents and he would gently rip off a small piece of wrapping paper and then hand it to me, it took awhile for him to open the presents, and I ended up helping him. Then it was cake time. I made him a carrot cake for him to dig into and put it in front of him on his highchair and he would take off little pieces of frosting and then hand them to me. I gave him one back and he didn't quite know what to think of on the initial taste, but I think he started to like it, but he did not "dig into" the cake he was very careful and clean about the whole thing. I put a plastic sheet underneath his highchair for the"mess" but let's face it, who am I kidding, the kid is a little OCD me. He likes things CLEAN. Don't get me wrong- I am not complaining, it was just ironic.
