Here are just some fun pictures of Parker, some from Easter, some from just around the house.

Parker's Ramblings
So, sometimes I know that I like to ramble on and on about whatever, but now it is Parker's turn.

Remember this shirt?
How about now?

Yep, that's right- the shirt Parker wore on Sunday was worn about 30 years ago by Joe. Also- notice what a cute little blondie Joe was : ) I tried to get more pictures of Parker in his shirt, but most of them were blurry- that seems to be what most of the pictures that I have been taken of him lately look like. Why can't he sit still?! : )
New Hair
Yes, I did take the picture myself... Joe was busy : ) A little different- but so much better. I can't stick it in a ponytail and that was the point. Nothing again ponytails but they are the easy way out. If my hair is long enough to stick in a ponytail, it will be in one. It does not matter that I do my hair each morning, it will end up in a ponytail usually by 9:00am. So with the new cut, it can't- mission accomplished.

RefLeCtiOns
April 15th- Tax day, also 3 years ago my grandma died. 6 weeks after my grandpa passed away from cancer. It was so sudden and such a shock, quite the opposite of my grandpa where is was something that we knew would happen. It is somewhat easy to say that it was supposed to happen that way... etc, but that doesn't still stop me from sometimes thinking that in someway I feel "cheated" from her passing. I never got to see her and Parker meet, I never got to tell her really goodbye. I found myself trying to remember what the last things I said to her was. She was an amazing grandma, I can still hear the sound of her voice, and sometimes when I get really excited about something, I still find myself wishing I could call and tell her. I found out from a friend that they lost their baby today, the baby was about 17 weeks along and the baby- Michael, only lived for about 10 minutes before passing and I feel so sad for them. I just cried, maybe it is the combination of reflecting on my grandma, and their loss but I am feeling so overwhelmed right now.

Easter
Well, we had a GREAT Easter this year, a good part of that has to be that Joe was actually here this year. The last 2 years he has been gone for work- how crazy that each time it landed on Easter when they were at least 2 weeks apart. Anyway, we were really glad that he was here. We went to my parent's house to celebrate with egg coloring, egg hunt, and a fantastic turkey dinner (Parker had quite a few helpings of the mashed potatoes and gravy- oh and me too : ) It was also nice to relect on the Savior and what he has done for us and how truly important that is to us.
And yes, that is chocolate around Parker's mouth- he tried to eat the foil wrapped chocolate egg- that hurts my teeth even thinking about him bitting into it...

To Joe~
So this is just a post with some pics of Joe when he was little- I think that Joe was SO adorable that I knew that we would have cute kids : ) Anyway, I am so appreciative of all that Joe does. He is truly an amazing husband, father and man. We went to Target and Cabella's last night to get some Easter stuff (Target) and he is building a roof rack for his Jeep so we went to Cabella's and Parker was quite amazed by all the animals and it was just a really fun, simple experience that we had as a family and as we drove back home I was just overwhelmed by the feeling of love & gratitude that I have for my little family. As we approach our 6 year anniversary (YES 6 YEARS!!) I am grateful for the decisions we both made for us to meet and get married.
Just so you know- he is in the little green shirt- we have that shirt for Parker to wear too : )

"More" and Nursery
No- not together! Yesterday did not go so well with nursery- about 15 minutes before Sunday School ended I heard a crying and I knew that it was my Parker- so I went out and he was quite distraught- it took me about 15 minutes to calm him down. We did end up going back into nursery, but I stayed with him the whole time, so he did a little better. It is probably good that there will be a break from next week-
On the other note of "More" Parker says that word now- SO CUTE!! He was sitting eating breakfast this morning and Joe had given him some Life cereal with a spoonful of milk and he LOVED it. So I was finishing getting ready and went out to check on him and he pointed to the pantry (where the cereal was) and said "More" (well his version of more which is quite close to the actual word more) and I was like- WHAT? and he pointed again and said "More" I thought it was so cute and was like "Joe! Parker just said More" and he was pleased and everything, so then I got him more and he was all excited and clapping- so cute!

Bye-Bye, Bread, Ball and Bottle
Darn it- why are there so many words that start with "B" - well, so many that Parker uses. He says bye-bye, (more like bah-bah) ball (without the "ll's") Bread (also more like "bah"- really working on that one) and bottle (once again more like "bah") however, there is typically a slight (and I mean slight) variation on the ball, bread and bottle, good thing he is a pointer, otherwise I might have to guess~ : ) So cute though as he is expanding his vocabulary!

NurSerY
So I put Parker in nursery this week, technically he could have gone last week, but I didn't really want to, and I didn't really want to this week either, but he was kinda fussy and didn't want to sit, so it was more for him than myself. I opened the door to his class and he saw a car, grabbed it, and then booked it towards the door. I stayed with him for a couple of minutes as he was taking it all in. He had each had on a car and was kneeling down while he observed. I slipped out and then would peek back in on him to make sure he was doing ok. For the first little while I don't think he actually moved, but then by the time I went to pick him up he was "playing" with everyone (not actually playing, but not ignoring them either) So, we will have to see about next week, it was hard without him.
