NurSerY

So I put Parker in nursery this week, technically he could have gone last week, but I didn't really want to, and I didn't really want to this week either, but he was kinda fussy and didn't want to sit, so it was more for him than myself. I opened the door to his class and he saw a car, grabbed it, and then booked it towards the door. I stayed with him for a couple of minutes as he was taking it all in. He had each had on a car and was kneeling down while he observed. I slipped out and then would peek back in on him to make sure he was doing ok. For the first little while I don't think he actually moved, but then by the time I went to pick him up he was "playing" with everyone (not actually playing, but not ignoring them either) So, we will have to see about next week, it was hard without him.

What a big boy!

We've actually had Daniel in nursery for a few months because he was just so sick of sitting still and I spent all of church in the hall. You'll get used to it pretty fast.

that sounds good..we have the 18 mth olds in our nursery, they're so sweet, but yeah some of them just need some time to adjust to all the other crazy kids :)

Wow. I'm amazed he would still sit on your lap. By the time my girls are 8 months I can hardly keep them on my lap. Sunday School just isn't an option for me by that time. It's me out in the hallways for the next 10 months. Kind of makes you feel inactive after a while :)

Oh, he didn't sit still all through SS and RS- he would sit for about 5 minutes or so, and then we would be out in the hall, but he didn't want to even just wander the halls and that is why I took him to nursery- otherwise we would have been in the hall, or if the weather is nice, walking outside. Which I really don't mind, he just didn't want to do that.
