Since all this August Thanksgiving Point is having their $2.00 Tuesdays, I have decided to take advantage of them each Tuesday. Yes, I realize that it being such a good deal, I will have to fight the crowds of kids and parents alike, but what better way to find out which venue Parker enjoys most. So it is $2.00 (obviously) for myself, and kids 2 and under are FREE- which equals- very cheap Parker and Mommy date. For this first Tuesday in August we went to the Farm Country and Parker LOVED seeing all the animals, especially the goats, horses, and cows. There was the cutest mommy cow with her baby- and there were 2 baby horses. Parker had no fear when it came to wanting to touch all the animals- I just need to remember to bring quarters to get some corn because apparently the goats won't give you the time of day unless you have food in your hand. Parker kept on trying to pet them, but they would sniff in his general direction and move on to a child whose mother brought quarters. Lesson Learned. Overall we had a really fun time. We did end up spending about 50 minutes waiting in line to ride the ponies, but Parker seemed to enjoy it, he wasn't like squealing with joy, but he wasn't crying, he was holding on to the saddle all by himself and he was...content. So- I chalk that up to SUCCESS! Anyway, here are some videos of Parker there. I have to remember to film lower so I catch more of his face and not the top of his head. Although now you can see his cute haircut. We cut it on Sunday because it was seriously like 3-4 inches long.
