Vacation

So, we went on family vacation with my family up to Idaho. We went to Warm River and it is not as you would assume from the name warm in any way. Last week we bought a little trailer from 1968 for about $500.00 and it is going to be our "project trailer". We are going to end up replacing things but for as old as it is, it is in pretty great condition. It was fun to get it all ready for the trip and it was nice staying in that instead of a tent. I am not sure how Parker would do with a tent. We left on Saturday and came back on Tuesday and we had a blast. Parker was so great! He was a perfect little camper : ) We go tubing down the river and Parker went down with me about 8 times. We are getting him started early : ) We started up to Yellowstone, but realized we were only going to be able to stay for about 1 hour so we turned back. However, I can accurately say that at 11 months old, Parker has been in Idaho and Montana : ) I need to get my sisters pictures because she has more than me and then I can post the pictures from the trip.

Having been a participant on the Warm River vacation, I can say first hand that Parker was the most amazing little "camper" that I have ever seen. I will never forget the image of Parker on his mother's lap, wearing a tiny life jacket, with his binky in his mouth - floating down the river again and again. So incredibly cute! Even after several days out in the woods, he was still happy and good-natured. What a kid!
