So, apparently we have been missing in action. We have had A LOT going on this month. Joe had Youth Conference, then we had Brian's wedding, then Parker had a DOUBLE ear infection (he has never had one before) then it was quiet for a couple of days, then Parker had a really bad fever, (he woke up with a temp of 102.3) and we rushed to the doctors around 10:30 at night, for them to say that he didn't have the flu that was going around, then we had Joe's family's reunion, the 4th of July and that is about where we are at. Parker's new favorite word is No and he LOVES to use it. It is a little irritating, but he says it so cute that sometimes it doesn't grate on my nerves : ) He also has gotten his 3 canine teeth in, the last one is taking a while to break, one day it will be out. I will post some more pictures when I take the time to get them off the camera, but that is a little update.

My NeW PhOnE?
Well, our contract with Sprint is about to end, and we have been thinking of switching over to AT &T, now why you might ask, well simply put- the iPhone. Now, I would not get the iPhone, I do not need all the options, etc that comes along with it, but Joe does. So, that means that I will need to get a new phone to replace my apparently dated PINK flip phone. Yes, it is cute and pink, but it will not work with the new carrier. So, this ladies (and gentlemen? ) just quite possibly be my new phone. I am not quite sure how I feel about the all touch screen thing, but apparently the actual number buttons are old technology... hmm...
Well, the iPhone doesnt' even come out until tomorrow, so I guess we have until then to decide. : ) No, the decision has pretty much been made, I am just having to warm up to it. Slowly, very slowly I am. Oh and a side note, this phone does NOT come in any color other than black, I think I would like it better if it came in pink.
UPDATE~

Now, I feel better~

I thought this was a cute picture that I didn't notice before where Joe is in the background with his tie too.
Yard Sale Find
So last weekend after dropping Parker off at my parent's house while we attended Brian's wedding, we realized we had some time to spare before arriving at the temple. We decided to see if there was a cool looking yard sale, and saw a large one over at the park. We felt quite overdressed as we wandered the yard sale and then I found something. A double stroller. Now, I have a FANTASTIC Britax Vigour and use that when it is just Parker, but being that I watch Genavie I figured that this could be handy with taking them both out for a walk, plus, when we do decide to have another one, this could be helpful. Now, I would NOT get a tandem stroller, they just look huge and awkward, but this little beauty is a side by side, but still is narrow enough to fit through most doors, and works great on the sidewalk. It was in really good condition, but I still cleaned it up some. It is a Peg Perego Aria Twin MT, so it is like 14 pounds, super light and brand new- like $300- $350- but would I pay even close to that, no that is why I got it at a yard sale. Plus, I already have a stroller and this is just an extra, but it was $30- so for that price, I got it.

WeDdInG
So yesterday (Saturday, June 13th) Joe's youngest brother, Brian (and last one at home) got married to his sweetie Lindsay. It was a wonderful ceremony at the Mt. Timpanogos temple, and the weather cooperated when necessary. Parker was ADORABLE and had limitless amounts of energy- he finally crashed in the car after the reception around 10. Here are some pictures from the day.

Now, here are some pictures of Parker- we saw a lot of this

Ya, I know, there was a lot of chasing going on, but there was also this~

Biking
So, here's a question- is Triking a word?? I mean biking is, so what about the activity you do on that special bike with 3 wheels? Okay, ya, I know, it looks weird, probably not a word, but the spell checker didn't catch it as a misspelling... Anyway- we were at a garage sale, and there was this little princess trike, and Parker was all for riding that, but hey princess trike, that's not very manly, and we can't have that, so Joe has a trike for Parker and was like, Parker can ride that when we get home. Now, I know of this trike that Joe speaks of, and um, I can ride it-- somehow I think Parker is a little young for it. Well, when we got home, and after Parker had his nap, we got out the trike- Well, wouldn't you know, Parker's legs need to be like 8 inches longer to even touch the pedals when they are the furthest away, so we ended up pushing him around on it while he held on. He enjoyed it though, so that is what counts : )
WOW! now that is a determined look if ever I saw one : )

Sorry the picture is dark, I would have preferred Parker to move where the lighting was better, but he was not in the mood : )

Swimming
DISCLAIMER- THIS POST HAS A LOT OF PICTURES
We had our first swimming/ wadding experience of the summer so far. We got Parker a new bigger boy swimming pool and I blew it up all by myself- did better than I thought I would. Parker was pretty nervous at the beginning, but ended up having fun trying to splash water on me. Who knew that trying to splash mommy could be so hilarious- he was literally squealing. What a cutie!
