sO CUte

I was looking through all of the pictures of Parker and saw these ones and they are so typical of Parker and how good natured he is.

Notice a Pattern?

So these are a great example of my jeans.

Don't ask my why they ALL have a hole in the left knee, while the right is perfectly fine. Believe me, I wish I knew why this was happening, because I would stop it : )

Parker's Eyes

This is a good example how the simple little things you do actually do make a difference. When I read books to Parker he loves it when I point to the facial features of the character- be it man, animal, etc and say "eyes" and then I will get ready to touch his eyes, but he closes his eyelids and then I will touch his eyes. Now if you ask him where are his eyes, he will close his eyelids and give a cheesy smile. It is the cutest thing ever, and he loves to do it because of every one's reaction. I do the same thing with his nose, mouth etc. so maybe he will start pointing those out too. He also waves in the video too- he LOVES to wave "Hi" and "Bye".

More Teeth

Currently to date Parker has 6 teeth! He has 4 on the top and 2 on the bottom, and he really likes to bite~ He thinks it is funny to bite my fingers, as long as it is on the nail it doesn't hurt too bad, but if he get the skin on top and bottom, wow! it hurts! Crazy how sharp their little teeth are : )

Birthday Pics

Ok, Ok, this is a little late, but better late than never : ) Anyway, here are some pictures from Parker's birthday. He was so funny! He woke up around 7:00 on Saturday and his party was supposed to start at 2:00, well at about 1:00, he was cranky, and he hadn't taken a nap, so I asked Joe if he would help him sleep while I finished getting ready for the party, so they went into our bedroom and Parker fell asleep. Joe is really good at getting Parker to sleep. Anyway everyone started arriving, and Parker was still sleeping, so we delayed the party for about 30 minutes while he kept on sleeping. We ended up getting him up and he was so funny. We gave him his presents and he would gently rip off a small piece of wrapping paper and then hand it to me, it took awhile for him to open the presents, and I ended up helping him. Then it was cake time. I made him a carrot cake for him to dig into and put it in front of him on his highchair and he would take off little pieces of frosting and then hand them to me. I gave him one back and he didn't quite know what to think of on the initial taste, but I think he started to like it, but he did not "dig into" the cake he was very careful and clean about the whole thing. I put a plastic sheet underneath his highchair for the"mess" but let's face it, who am I kidding, the kid is a little OCD me. He likes things CLEAN. Don't get me wrong- I am not complaining, it was just ironic.

Sad Face

So Parker is excellent on faking a sad face. I was actually able to kinda of catch it the other day. It is always so spontaneous, that it has been eluding me : ) So, anyway enjoy~

Towards the end of the video, there is actually another funny face of him scrunching up his nose. Oh, and another thing, Parker doesn't typically chew on the Tylenol bottle, I was just trying to get a reaction : )

TeETh

Just a quick little post- Parker currently has 4 teeth : ) 2 on the bottom and the 2 on the top. I think that the 2 on the top, next to the main 2 are coming in too. What a mouth full of little teeth! They are so cute though : )

SO SleEpY

I was feeding Parker the other night when I noticed that his eyes were starting to look VeRY HeAVy, which was funny because about 15 minutes before I had told Joe that Parker was very tired and needed to sleep. Well, 20 minutes after I said that- this was the result-

WRiNkLEy NOse

For the last little while Parker wrinkles his nose. He does it when he smiles, when he laughs, when he is sad, when he is mad, he does it just for fun and anytime in between. I think it is probably because he gets such a reaction from us, that he keeps on doing it.
