Enjoying

We are LOVING having our basement done! Still a few things to do, and a few things to move downstairs to Joe's office and then we can start on her room, I am hoping a little later this week I can start painting. It will be more fun I think doing her room- 

Also, I went to my dr. appt. on Thursday, everything is looking great- I did have to sign a VBAC consent form, which did make me feel more nervous than I did before going into the appt. And, I found out that they won't induce early, or on time- Only if there is some big medical reason, or I am a week late, so that was something I asked about. I will post some pictures- once I take some, but so far feeling pretty good, a little uncomfortable when trying to sleep and have been having a bit of the braxton hicks contractions- I still haven't had to pull out the maternity jeans- I wear the lower rise pants, so maybe that helps, but kinda glad about that. I haven't gained much weight- about 7-8 lbs, but the doctor isn't too worried. I think it is just we have been so busy with projects. Anyway, that is the news for now- just loving how everything is progressing :) 

UpDaTe

We have been super busy lately working on the basement, getting things ready and just living life, but here are a few pictures to show our updates- YAY- the basement has been mudded, taped and textured- and it looks awesome! It looks so much better- just really finishes it- next is on to paint, and then flooring and trim, oh, and the electrician needs to come and finish up to, but in theory, that is all that is left- so it is quite exciting- we are planning on starting the painting this weekend.

Oh, and I should probably post a pic of me since I haven't- in a while- so here is me at 27 weeks, Joe was being goofy and this was the last picture so, it's ok- she is moving and growing and it is crazy that she will be here in a VERY SHORT 12 1/2 weeks.

That is what he asks, usually followed by a "Cheese Sandwich?" and then he will make your "food" for you. It is the best tasting NO calorie food ever!

An Update

Wow! Has it really almost been a month since I last posted?? Wow! I guess there just haven't been any huge big things going on to post about. We have just been doing our thing- Parker is just as adorable as ever- chatting away and always amazing me with the things he says. He really comprehends so much and it  is amazing to hear what he is thinking about. His new word is "what?" and he asks it a lot. 

Me: "Parker, let's pick up your toys."

Parker "what? what momma?"

Yes, that is how a lot of our conversations are lately. He loves to say prayers, and he says all of them. 

I have been up to the same old same old I guess. Finding deals, being unmotivated to blog about them, the usual I guess :)  I did mostly finish planting our garden. I planted potatoes, onions, carrots and peas earlier, but with the awesome weather lately, I was hesitant to plant the tomatoes, peppers, herbs, and beans, but I decided to plant those today. If they die- oh well, I waited til ALMOST JUNE!!!

Joe, same as always, such a wonderful husband, and an awesome father. He LOVES Parker, and Parker adores him. If Parker is awake when Joe is leaving for work, Parker has to make sure to give him a hug, kiss and a squeeze. So cute! I guess that is all for now...
