Here are some funny conversations I have had with Parker recently

The other day Parker ate a cookie and them came up to me and said, "My cookie is in my tummy" "Oh, ok" I said, Parker then told me that the cookie needed a friend, so I asked if he wanted some bread, he looked at me and said "No, the cookie needs a cookie friend" -Hmm... how do your argue with that?

Parker scratches himself sometimes, (poor child was cursed with my over sensitive skin) and I told him so stop scratching, and he said, "See, my fingernails listened to you, they stopped scratching, say "Thank You " to the fingernails" Me..."Uh, thank you fingernails"

Parker wanted to help me open a can to help with dinner, and so I attached the can opener and held that handles while Parker was turning the knob, it was pretty difficult and so I asked if he needed any help, Parker said "No, it's ok, I've got it all handled"

We installed a new light it Joely's room and Parker after waking up from a nap (rare- the nap, not the waking up part :) Looked in Joely's room and so nonchalant said with a wave of his hand "Oh, that looks nice"

It has been raining like crazy and the other day while getting ready to run a couple of errands I told Parker that he needed to get his coat because it was raining, he looked outside and said, "No, I don't think it is raining" "But it is" I said, "and it will be cold" But, Parker was convinced it was not raining, but I made him at least take his coat with us, and as he walked outside after the garage door opened he said, "You're right momma, it is raining"
