Are you KIDDING me?!?!

So I guess we will need to start looking for more of these~

For this new little one!
A sweet little girl is coming into our family due 1/1/11 and we are SOOOO excited!
I was so sure this was a little boy, but was fine with either (and still am) but I guess I didn't realize how much I thought this baby was a boy until she said this was a girl and I was SHOCKED- Still am, but super excited! As of today I am 20 weeks, 2 days and we have told VERY few people. We had some sadness earlier in the year and so I was more hesitant to tell people, but then it ended up with me trying to see how long I could not tell people- but now we are just excited and want to tell everyone, plus I will not feel like I have to hid my baby bump :) I will tell you- this is one ACTIVE little girl, I have been able to feel her since about 16 weeks and she just keeps on moving! At our ultrasound she was perfect, right on schedule, about 10 oz and I am so happy! I am not exactly sure what I will do with a girl because I am so used to Parker and we have so many cute little clothes and bows, and hairbands etc to get but we are looking so forward to it!

I hope next year is "the year of the girls" so that I will have a girl too ;)

So excited for you! She's going to have the cutest curly hair!

Congrats! Like you said, the girls are definitely outnumbering the boys. :) I honestly thought you'd have a girl for #2. Maybe we'll even be there to see the new baby!? What great timing. Are you going to try for a vbac or a c-section? Either way, good luck! Has it been an easy pregnancy so far?

I really thought it was a boy so I thought it was so ironic that I made that comment on Janet's fb post and then I end up having a girl too :) I am a good candidate for a v-bac so that is what we are planning. All in all the pregnancy could have been worse. I did have morning sickness a lot worse than with Parker about 24/7- started about 5 weeks, and started going away after 16 weeks, but I can still get queasy at the slightest thing. We are so excited and have TONS to do before she gets here :)

So excited to be Gamma to a baby girl! It's been so fun with Parker - this will make grandmothering that much more delightful! Such a lucky, lucky baby... Such a lucky, lucky me...
