It AmAzEs me how much Parker understands, and what he says-seriously- he amazes me. As he learns and grows and talks I'd like to think that there is a little part of me that is doing something right. I think that to a certain extent, the things your child says reflects on what they hear, especially for while they are small. Parker tells me all the time
"Good Job Momma, Good Job" usually when I do something for him, or clean something up for him, or get him something. Super Cute!
"I prow you" (I proud of you) So cute!!
At the post office this morning, while waiting in line to get stamps
"Momma, you happy?" "Yes Parker, I'm happy, are you happy too?" "Yes, Parker happy. Parker happy, Momma happy- Two Happys" "Yeah Parker, you are right, 2 happys" Me- BEAMING WITH PRIDE.
While passing those weird guys at the tax service place that dress up at the Statue of Liberty and wave at everyone.
P- "Momma, that guy scary"
M-" Oh, what color is the guy?"
P- "Blue, Blue guy scary"
after a minute
P- "Don't hurt Parker"
M- "The scary blue guy?"
P- "Yes, Scary blue guy don't hurt Parker"
M; "Oh honey, that scary guy won't hurt you, you are with Momma, and you are safe with Momma in Momma's car, he can't hurt you. Do you know that you are safe in Momma's car?"
P- "Yes, I safe Momma's car. Thank you Momma, Thank you"
He LOVES signs, and asks me what ANY sign says, he knows that red stop signs mean stop, orange signs mean "Be Careful" (cause seriously, they can say a lot of different things, but that is what they all boil down to" and yellow signs mean "watch out" (same philosophy as the orange sign...) He loves to point to all the signs in the grocery store and ask what they mean. He loves to say prayers, and kneel on the floor for family prayers-
Seriously, I love this kid!
