So SmArT! 10 things...

So, I am sure all moms think this, but I really do have to say that Parker just amazes me at how bright and smart he is. Here are some things about him that just make me wonder where he learns all of this.

1. If you ask him to put something in the garbage, right then and there he will put whatever it is in the garbage.

2. You can ask him where any object is and he will either go and get it, or (another thing that amazes me) is he will come and get me by saying "mom" and point to where he would like me to go. I will ask what he needs me to get and he will take me where he needs me to go and will point to what I need to get for him.

3. He can climb on ANYTHING- he just recently learned how to climb on the dining "room" chairs, this is no small task- we have the bar stool height table and chairs.

4. I am so interested in his thought process- he will line up like 12 cars on the window sill in his room and rearrange the cars - you can see him study the cars and VERY specifically move the cars in different orders. That seriously amazes me, when you can watch him choosing the car...anyway...

5. He is very good with buckles, like on his car seat- he is quite fascinated by them and will make sure that you do not forget to latch it together, if you don't, he will (not that I have unintentionally- I just watch him to see what he does)

6. He is crazy good at coloring, he is definitely a righty, and will move his wrist to create different lines, etc. He will take one crayon or marker at a time, use it, and when he wants another color, he will put it back in the box and grab the next color. He also puts them back the right way, not upside down.

7. He is getting A LOT more vocal, he loves to point and jabber away- I wish I knew what he was trying to say.

8. He knows EVERY facial feature- such as eyes, nose, hair, ears, mouth, tongue, eyebrow, forehead, cheek... he will point to most of them on his self, except for nose and eyes, he will point to those on me : )

9. If his hands get dirty and I tell him that we need to wash his hands, he will run into that bathroom and I will lift him up to the sink, he will turn on the water, I will put soap on his hands, he will rub his hands together and when he is done, turn off the water. I will put him on the floor and tell him to dry off his hands and he will dry his hands off on the towel.

10. He is so cute to fold him arms. You can either say, "Can you fold your arms" Or "It is time for prayer" and he will fold his little arms. TOO CUTE!

WOW!
This kid amazes me! These are just some things that he does that totally amazes me. I can't figure out what I am doing for him to figure all this out, I am glad that he is though! He is so wonderful and we are so grateful for him.

Isn't it amazing how they pick up on stuff without you even knowing it. I too am fascinated by a child's developing brain. It is extraordinary!
