So, with everything going on with Joely, sometimes I neglect to post on Parker, so here are some updates on Parker-

He is 3 1/2
His language is incredible! The things he says amaze me sometimes, and I really need to be better about writing those down. For example, the other day it was snowing and Parker says, "Momma, the snow comes from the clouds." "Yes it does." I say, and when then Parker says "when the snow melts, it turns into water" Smarty! That is just a TINY example of what Parker says. ON that same note, Parker can be VERY naughty, especially lately, maybe a combination of age and the adjustment with Joely, but it can be quite trying to say the least. So, if he is mad at you, he will call you a "punk" thank you Cars character- Ramone for that that! And he doesn't listen at you all the time, so you will tell him something, or show him something multiple times, back to back and then afterwards he will ask you what you said, or to show yo again, and yes, sometimes I say, No- I already showed/ told you. and he will walk away, shoulders hunched and say "Fine, Be that way". He is a funny boy, opinionated, but such a wonderful part of our family.

He fell asleep the other night while I was on the couch. He had been playing with his cars and then suddenly it was quiet. I got up and found him like this.

 My sis in law invited us to go over to Monkey Island which is about 2 miles away from our house. It is one of those big bounce house places. Parker was pretty hesitant at first, but then quickly warmed up to is and it was all I could do to get him to leave after being there for about 2 1/2 hours. 

 Parker LOVES to vacuum. I will tell him that if he cleans up all of his toys and his room, that he can vacuum it all by himself. He LOVES it.

 

8 WeEkS & sMiLeS

Where does the time go?!?! How is it that my tiny little baby was born 8 weeks ago?? It certainly does not seem that long! She is so sweet and wonderful, and starting to be all smily. We have her 2 month checkup next week, so we will see what the official stats are but I weighed her 2 days ago (weigh her and I, and then just me) and according to that, she weighs just over 10 lbs. It is funny when people that she her mention how tiny she is, and I guess I don't see her as tiny anymore, little yes, but not tiny. She is such a sweetie, and sometimes when she is fussy and the time of day permits it, I will hold her with my left arm, swaddled, and vacuum with the right arm and she will settle right down, wow, she is my daughter :) 

 I {LOVE} that she wrinkles her nose and sticks out her tongue! That is her happiest smile.

 

 Oh, I guess I should have mentioned this- BUT she is actually looking at me in all the pictures that she is smiling in, I was kissing her feet kinda silly, and she seemed to love it, so I held the camera off to the side while I kept doing it.

 This picture I thought was hilarious because it wasn't really a smile, it was that she was fidgeting and the camera caught this shot. 

Updates

Ya, so blogging isn't the first thing on my to do list lately- so here are some pics to show what we have been up to the last week or so. 

New Haircut- He needed it desperately!

 Still looking so cute! But seriously- look at that mouth- that it the mouth that women would kill for- especially as she gets older :)

 Parker holding Joely- he LOVES her, he ADORES her and he loves to tell her that and me that. He thinks everything about her is so cute, from her mouth, to her toes.

 Chillin' in the swing- doesn't happen too often, she prefers to be held- all the time. Except for a night, she will sleep in her bed, but otherwise she prefers to be held, while sleeping and while awake :)

 This baby girl is GORGEOUS! I know that parents are all partial and think that their child is the most beautiful, but really, she is :)
