Good-Bye Blue Bathroom & Couch!

Well, we have been wanting to make some changes around the house, one of which is to change our "kids" bathroom. Why I ever painted that room blue and did a blue theme is BEYOND me, I don't like blue, and in terms of decorating I rather hate blue. I don't know why I chose that color, but 4 years later we are making the change, so GOOD-BYE blue bathroom, I will not miss you. So I will now say~ Hello Happy, Warm Yellow bathroom, I am glad to see ya! I have pictures of the blue bathroom, and the pictures of the after isn't quite accurate- I mean there is still the blue tape, etc., but I LOVE it!

On the same note of good-byes we sold our couch- it was the couch we got when we got married (Almost 6 years old : ) But we are wanting to get a sectional instead (the nice sectional with the chaise on the end) Anyway, we sold the couch in about 48 hours of having listed it, and having received MANY phone calls, and emails, and now it is gone, so we don't really have a place to sit, cause we don't know really what sectional we are going to get, but at least we don't have to worry about selling it now, and no, we still don't have a car for Joe, I am somewhat stranded at home...

Bath TIme

So Parker LOVES taking baths, if you don't watch him while the bath water is running, he will TRY and jump in, clothes and all. So the other day he was in the bath playing with his boat toy (thanks again Nathan and Liz!) And he was so cute, I just had to take some pictures. Note to someone whose little boy has naturally curly hair, if you want their hair to be straighter, just don't get it wet for a while (days, I mean days) Otherwise, let it be its cute messiness of curls.

Stacking

So last night Parker was having fun playing in one of the cupboards, he was stacking and playing and it was super cute. I snapped a few...ok a lot of pictures and here are some from it.

SiLLy BoY!!

Parker is such a goofy little boy. He has such a fun personality and loves to have fun. I love it when he does something to crack himself up, and he starts laughing at himself, or whatever he did to make himself laugh. Yesterday I was showing him somersaults (which I did more of than I have probably the last 7 years combined) Anyway, he thought that it was SO funny, and tried to do it himself, he fell flat a few times, and then just started bending over. The video I have shows him twirling, and his attempt at somersaults, and what he does when it doesn't work. He is such a wonderful little boy!

So Parker came up to me today and just started to twirl- I am not sure why he decided to do it, it is pretty random, but SO cute, and he knows how cute I think it is, so he keeps coming up to me and twirling : )

3 days- 3 MORE days to go~

So, only 3 more days before Joe gets home, I am really looking forward to him coming home. It is not the same without him here, and I am sure that Parker misses him too. It has been fairly uneventful while he has been gone, so hopefully it can stay that way- unless it is eventful in a good way : )

Ok, I must admit- he looks VERY uncomfortable, but I wanted to make sure he didn't get too cold, we were going to be going outside, and Parker and cold do NOT mix.
